Here is what the web lead said: "Our owners are interested in advertising on (competitor station) between 6a-8a and 3:30p-5:30p on Thursdays and Fridays. Here is my web lead story that generated $27,000 in the first 6 months and they just renewed. In January, I received a web lead from a potential advertiser, the provided a service that unlocked your phone so that you could use it anywhere you want in the world. I really didn't have to do much selling. The promo we were running and our sales website was convincing enough. I just needed to guide them through the process as it was their first time advertising. I recommended a 13-week campaign with 6 commercials per day Monday to Sunday between 6am-10pm. He had a unique service that our listeners wanted, and it didn't take very long for him to start seeing results. He got so many calls, he actually had to automate his phone line so that he wasn’t bombarded by people just looking for directions. After the end of his first 13 week campaign, he renewed his campaign for another 13 weeks. We changed his commercial and on the first day of his new campaign he called me up, I thought there was something wrong, but he was just calling to tell me how he's received 20 phone calls that day!! He was very pleased with the results, as I had told him that it would take time for the new commercial to get into people's heads and generate calls.
